Priya Vijayarajendran, VP Data & AI @ Microsoft
Priya joined Microsoft in April 2019 as Vice President, Data & AI. Prior to Microsoft, Priya was the CTO and Vice President for Applied AI at IBM Services, where she was responsible for end-to-end AI solutions for IBM’s enterprise customers. At IBM, she built and fostered an engineering-driven culture focused on AI solutions, from concept to consumption, working closely with customers and enabled by her team. She was also credited for building and fostering a community of AI experts across the organization. Prior to her time at IBM, she was the Head of Innovation at SAP Labs in Silicon Valley, where she drove innovation and pioneered transformative products and solutions that benefited SAP’s customers.
Priya has over 21 years of Product Strategy, Application Development, Enterprise Architecture, Big data computing, Customer Co-Innovation, Field Enablement, and Design Thinking experience. She believes in humanizing enterprise software and with AI as an enabler, she works with businesses to transform and reimagine their critical business processes to create highly viable solutions. Outside of work, she advises and participates in entrepreneurial and tech meetups around the Bay Area and is a regular speaker at different AI events. She is a committed advocate of democratizing AI to inspire the next generation of talent.
